Loop is an organization trying to raise awareness regarding OCD. Through research, it's been clear that the Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is misspresented from pop culture leading to the creation of many stereotypes thought the years. Those stereotypes mainly gives us an impression of a very light and somewhat funny disorder that the vast majority of us have on a certain extend.

Loop is trying to put things straight and give to everyone a clear view of the disorder. While trying to show to everyone that OCD is a very severe and common disorder, the identity and the whole look & feel of the organization tries to undemonize the whole myth regarding mental illnesses.

The organization's purpose is to educate people and help the OCD patients to have a voice to express themselves. The name is reference to the continuous circle between obsessions (constant thoughts that the patients have) and compulsions (the rituals that the patients have in order to shut down those obsessions).

**Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a disorder in which people have recurring, unwanted thoughts, ideas or sensations (obsessions). To get rid of the thoughts, they feel driven to do something repetitively (compulsions).
